Quick Blast of Fretless Sterling Fun!

This is a short clip of me warming up on my new to me lefty Sterling fretless with my buddy Bryan on drums. This bass is just smokin and has lots of growl even with flats! I'm new to posting anything on Youtube but our guitar player was messing with my little camera and recorded this clip while we were warming up. I am a die hard Stingray fan but this Sterling is a growling, snarling mwah machine!

Nice! I just got my first (new to me) stingray and I'm loving every moment of it I have always wanted to try a fretless Musicman but haven't come across any yet. But I am curious, and maybe this is just the bad quality of the video but...it looks like your strings have sawed through the nut quite a ways? Huh?!

Must just be the angle of the shot. The nut is perfectly cut and all original. The bass is only 2 years old and was barely played by the previous owner. She plays like butter! I bet you are loving your new Stingray!

Thanks guys. It would be fun to record something a bit more substantial for sure. Just cant get enough of that Sterling lately! Although I am getting closer to nailing the perfect setup on my fretless SR4.
