Could someone please recommend either a product or method for cleaning the back of the neck? I'm not looking for a thorough clean, just a quick wipe down. The back of the neck on my Axis has gotten a tad sticky for some reason, which is odd as I make sure I play with clean hands and no change in colour either. Regardless, I'm not looking to clean the entire neck cause the fingerboard is fine its just the back. Some wipes or method to get rid of it and not damage the neck or get rid of the wax/oil finish on it. Thanks in advance

Now I need to get my hands on some Murphy's Oil Soap...and seeing as I live in Europe, fat chance of that happening lol. I'll look around though, any other alternatives? BTW, I don't think Wonder Wipes should be used on an all maple neck.

amazon.co.uk ...look for oil soap or Murphy Brand, equivalent products will show up. Also read the Murphy Brand ingredients... may help when searching a local store.

Murphy Oil Soap does work very well. Dilute it a little, use a soft toothbrush and soft cloth to get the job done. (Also a little 0000 extremely fine steel wool used very gently will smooth things out too... may not be a favorite method for some ;) )

Hmm... Looks like someone needs a gunstock oil refinish. Trust me youll love it;) i do those to my balls and it makes the neck feel magical new!

On the faq section youll find info on how to refinish. Its pretty easy. Id post the link but im on my ipad.
