I am really enjoying this guitar.

I will post some better pics later, when it is not so cold outside. Indoor lighting sucks, and it makes the Candy Apple too dark.

No, not at all. You see I had a LUKE about three years ago. That neck "V" was much more noticable. This new one I have, yes the "V" is there, but it is more subtle than I remember on the other LUKE I used to have.

Either way, old or new, the neck shape is great.

One other thing I noticed with this new LUKE, was the finish on the neck. It was completely smooth and soft to the touch. On the one I used to own, I could feel the wood grain. It was not as smooth as this new one.

Again, either way, old or new, they are both great guitars. I do not have the old LUKE anymore. I sold it when I was getting into more fusion based stuff like Gambale and Holdsworth.

Now I am down to this new LUKE and an American Strat. I have been only playing the LUKE since I received it. I pick up the Strat for a few minutes here and there so as to not neglect it. But, if I find I do not go to it at all, I will probably sell it. Since my Strat has the LUKE EMG pickups in it, I thought I would make it completely different sounding by changing the pickups for something else to get me in the range of Mike Landau and Scott Henderson type single coil tones.

Then I will have all of my tonal influenced bases covered. Luke, Landau, and Henderson.

Beautiful. That's the same color as mine. It's amazing what light, or the absence of light does to these colors! I personally love the darker look mine gets by being indoors, but it's all good. Congrats.
