Name it Moby Dick ; or the Bride.

Note that white PU on an all-black bass could also be very classy.

thats exactly what i wanted at that time when i was purchasing my sr5... pearloid pguard, white body, white p ups ( although i wanted classic HH,not dual )etc.... but my e ball dealer didnt have it in store. as 6-9 month were TOO long to wait, i took what he had - vintage sunburst, black pg, maple neck. i love it, ofcourse, but this white princess remains my dream....

That's a great looking bass. I like it as much as my own. Too bad the original owner has to sell it! I would be bummed something fierce.:(

Agreed, with all the effort that went into putting that bass together the way he wanted it, he must REALLY need the cash to now have to part with it (it happens). Definitely a beautiful bass, and cool to see what the HH basses COULD look like if white pickup covers were still available. If I was a rich man, I'd snap it up in a second. Classy!

Yeah, very hot bass, just what I was looking for, thats why I bought it :D

This will go very nice with my pearl white Lakland DJ4, the range of sounds from both basses will be HUGE

BTW, the pick ups were replaced for white covered p/ups by the UK distributor, so I guess the warranty was not affected, at least not within the UK!

Nice one Tony, I watched that bass just to see if it would sell and at what price. A LOT of Stingrays seem to be selling for much less than they used to go for on ebay when I bought my first one a few years ago, so glad to see you were the only "2-time" bidder and won it. Congratulations! She's a beaut and I'm sure you'll love it!

I bid the lowest amount, couldn't go much higher, but I put another £20 on just in case (that was the second bid)
More than what I wanted to spend but rare as hens teeth as the saying goes!
Looks like new apart from the knock on the headstock!

Just gotta sell my Honeyburst 5 string 'ray now
