OK...I have gotten several e-mails on my personal e-mail account. No problem...I love you guys/gals who write. This does NOT pertain to you.

This goes to all the noobs who for some reason think I can and will do this.

I WILL NOT TAKE YOUR MONEY AND BUY YOU A GUITAR AND SHIP IT OVERSEAS! I cannot put that in a more clear context. That is trying to go around the system and it effects many of my friends and their business. Both at EBMM and distributors.

I did sell one of my personal guitars to someone who lives in Poland, but that was a used and personal instrument. Great guy who got a great axe.

I will not do that to Pete, DaveB, Doug or anyone else. They are my friend as well as great dealers that you can go to. Pete and Dave here in the States. DaveB in England. I believe there are a few other oversea dealers as well.

If you are an overseas dealer....respond to this thread and let them know where.

DIRECT YOUR E-MAILS TO THEM!

THIS IS THE WARNING! Another e-mail to me regarding that will be publicly posted.

Sorry about your luck in having to pay taxes and all....not my fault. Run for government and change your laws....

Also, I AM NOT AN EBMM EMPLOYEE NOR CAN I OR WILL I SPEAK FOR EBMM, BIG POPPA (STERLING BALL), JON, BETH, KEVIN, DARGIE, DUDLEY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not e-mail me about warranties, why are things done a certain way and why you should have a guitar custom made for you. Go call or write to Customer Service.

For some odd reason, non of the people who e-mailed me are members of the forum. They tell me how they read the forum and even point me in the direction of threads. So, I know they are lurking. Well....join and ask your questions. Leave me the hell alone. I just got 12 e-mails on these subjects today. I now dare you to send me another one.

DO NOT ever ask me to come between my friendship with Sterling and my fellow dealer/forumites again in wanting me to do some shady stuff for you.

Over....Koog is gonna disappear for a bit.

Bovine - who knows...was never asked.

mesaduelrec - No...because we all know the tops suck...;) I would feel bad doing that knowing the tops suck.

Smelly - believe it or not....I am very relaxed. You haven't seen me PO'd...:p

Redburst - redbulls only go with Vodka and I am out of Vodka.

Case in point and this is what made me post the thread.

I person from Spain said the following:

"As a long time reader of the MM forums I noticed how you and Big Poppa seem to be friends. Could you ask Big Poppa to do you a favor by letting you purchase a guitar for me and shipping it to me in Madrid. Or, you could just get me a guitar and ship it and it wouldn't be known as I am not on the forum."

That right there is what set me off a bit. So, now, I am being asked to lie to a friend of mine (he knows quite a bit about me and vice versa) who I hold close to me. Are you kidding me? Seriously, that is darn near word for word as I had to correct the English a bit.

The mere fact of being asked to pull a favor such as that, then asked to basically lie about it in the next sentence is enough to make me go to the gun range. Others were way over the top...some funny enough to get a chuckle out of me...but most are not.

Another one..."My guitar did not come with a polish rag...could you send me one?"
WTF? Are you kidding me? I replied with, "Where the Hell does it say I work for EBMM? I don't. E-mail CS about it."

His response - "As an employee....I don't think that was a good attitude. I will e-mail Mr. Ball about your tone."

My reply - "Oh, I'm sorry, I don't want you to get Mr. Ball to fire me as I just got the new employee of the decade award and I finally got my own parking spot. Please call Customer Service (number given) and they will help you."

See what I mean....it has been a steady stream here lately....

Koogie, since you have an inside track, I wonder if you'd do me a favor and answer this question, which only a devoted employee would know. I promise it will go no further. Is it true that BP wears flip-flops at work?

Well I'm definitely not BP.....and mine don't have a bottle opener, but here is some insight as to if BP may be spotted sporting the occasional flip-flop
