Morbid Sky will rock on stage this thursday, and these babes will be with me this time.

how i love these roasted necks!
btw. here you can see the differences between the dark roasting on the DL and 2012PDN compared to the 2014PDN and to the non-roasted 2006 tobacco burst

btw. if you find some spare-time, please click "vote" for Morbid Sky on the "Regionalcharts"

I hope you have some help lugging around all of your gear, Joe. That's a lot of firepower for one gig. Are some of them tuned differently than the others?

yup, two are drop-d and two are standard and the olp baritone H-H
open the show with the DL (four tunes on drop-d), switch to the tobacco burst which has a piezo bridge, so i´ll use this for two songs in standard, switch to the neptune blue for another two songs in standard tuning after that go to the honey roadsted on drop-d again for three songs. and if the crowd wants one more - baritone for the extra low-end feeling. :)

That makes sense. I'm looking forward to some pics - enjoy the show and good luck.

@DrKev,
you are right. i could play the show just with one hardtail Y2D. :)
but i want to use the piezo and i want to use the floyds for some songs.
and maybe it's a bit of "hey, let me show you what i have" behaviour. ;)

@banjoplayer
no, the DL has a fatter neck. it must be an optical illusion, maybe becaue of the flame on the neck.

@Eric
thanks mate!

@Tollie
just to give a bit more inside, the Drop-D guitars are strung up with "slinky top, heavy bottom" 10-52 and the standards are strung up with regular slinkys 10-46

I fully condone backups! I hadn't popped a string on stage in a long time before this weekend. I switched fast enough that no one knew that I broke one :) people definitely woulda noticed if I had to restring it.

I think a backup guitar is essential, too.
