Hey Pops,

I'm on holiday and emptying my head, and whilst lying on a lounger by the pool watching the EBMM factory tour vid on my iphone (yes I'm that much of a fanboi)

So here goes...

necks - the wood is sliced and then reglued once the truss road is in on an all maple neck.

for rosewood and ebony ones what happes to the sliced bit of maple? - or do you just user a thinner bit of maple for them - I know it's not going to lead to a cancer cure in answering this but it's a bit like who cuts a barbers hair - it's really got my few remaining cells burning...

Thank you in advance.

That's actually an interesting question. I'd like to know now too! Nice work, Smelly. :)

My guess is those neck blanks getting RW boards are just cut thinner. And since that's my guess - it's likely wrong.

I once played a guitar from another brand that had a mahogany neck with a maple fret board...I loved it! Never seen it before or again.

Hehe I'm in disguise only you guys know my true idenditiy! Funnily enough we were on the beach and a guy was using my trademark via his body if you catch my drift, my wife thought it was our son rather than the guy so told him off for not saying pardon me and the guy had to come over and take the blame! Ok bit lame but made me laugh! YouTube is slow today but watching the game hanger videos on my phone fly back tomorrow cant wait to plug in my hh AL
