Turn your back for one minute, and this kind of thing happens...

(Yes, that's my BFR!)

Fortunately, my BFR, my friend's double bass, and my daughter all survived unscathed. Can't say the same for my band mate! ;)

He watched too much "El Kabong" cartoons as a kid.....oh, wait, I see the horsefly he was going after......completely understandable.....it's a known fact that the quilt on a BFC is invisible to a horsefly.

At least it wasn't the Dargie ;) But seriously I think that is totally un-called for.

Maybe it was a head cutting competition and you just can't see the rest of the picture. :)

The guy is obviously coked out and completely lost it, I can see the bags hanging out of his pocket. :p

Seriously though, this picture is disturbing me.

No BFRs or animals were harmed in the making of this photo. (The only casualties were my nerves!) ;)

People, keep those cases locked!!!!

To be fair, he was actually quite careful handling the guitar. (And sober!) When he took the guitar out of the case after the gig, I thought he was just going to try it because he'd said earlier that it sounded great. (He's actually a very talented musician)...but when he started to hold it axe-fashion, I got REAL nervous.

He just wanted to stir me up.

It worked.

PS Larry, I was *nearly* going to take the Dargie to that gig, but thought I'd show off the BFR instead. Stupid, stupid, stupid...next time I'll take my old Guyatone Strat copy! ;)

...that makes me kind of angry!
Is this one of the moments where friendships come to an end?
