I was looking for a guitar that I could leave at work and jam/practice with and was entertaining a travel-sized guitar which would hopefully be smaller (to stash away) and cheaper. This was not the case, so I started investigating Sub1's. Retail for a brand new one was more than my budget for an "at-work beater" so I searched the bay and won a dark grey w/ black pickguard, tremolo and lockng tuner Sub1 for way less than 1/2 retail. It feels good and I'm pleasantly happy with the bridge humbucker.
I do need some info. please:
1. DOB (X12207)
2. What kind of locking tuners are those and where can I purchase replacements?(one or two are almost stripped in the slot where you tighten them-----they work but don't look pretty)
3. Will the nut blanks for sale on the EB sight work as replacements for this guitar and all others? How much are they?
