I have 3 EBMM Sports but really wanted a straight up Sport Tele, as that's what the guitar basically is in my mind-a supped up Tele. So I bought a Sterling Axis and retrofitted it to fit a Tele bridge, Tele pickup set and a 3 way switch. I'm constantly amazed as how great the guitar is, regardless of my upgrades. The neck, while much larger than my EBMM Axis necks, is really good. Everything about it is really good. I bought it new for under $300. It sounds identical to my Fender Tele. Hope you can get your issues worked out. I'm sure they'll help you.

I'm curious what the issues are?

Glenn, I am only guessing it is related to the OP's original post of the two that he has posted so far:

Not sure

I purchased a new CT50HSS 2 weeks ago. So far, so good. Action is good. Neck doesn't need adjustment. Knobs and switches are good. Jack is good. Fret ends are smooth.
One string needs intonation adjustment and I plan to polish the frets some more. They're really good as-is but I recently had surgery that reduced some strength in my fretting hand so I'm only doing it to make bending a little easier. It came with 10's so I'm going to change those to 9's too.
Only thing I hate is the black fret dots on the roasted neck. They're hard to see.

I played a Sterling Mariposa at GC a few weeks ago, not set up, unable to tune it it was so out and all the noise...HOWEVER, the neck was surprisingly Wonderful, even with the previous mentioned issues !! Almost bought it, but saving for an EBMM AL with the MM90's. I defiantly see myself getting a Sterling for an office guitar and one to tinker with !!
