Question recommend gigbag for Stingray5

I have the hardshell but want to do the "one trip load" and think a backpack style gigbag would do the trick.

Having used these things before I know they are sensitive to the shape of the bass.

Any recommendations? (Gator, Musicman, Warwick, Roadrunner, Fender, etc).

It is important that it has nice padding, nice zippers, some compartments for a pedal and batteries and can last.

Price range is <$80

Roadrunner works for me, I even can fit my GB Shuttle head in the front pocket with all of my cables.

i have a tribalplanet gig bag, it's pretty hardcore, really well padded and seems well made, plenty big pockets, i can fit an 8 channel mixer in the pocket with room for a couple of effects pedal and shedloads of small crap like straps, leads, batteries etc etc in the top pocket and it has nice wide padded very comfy shoulder straps. Surprisingly they're pretty cheap too.

I sometimes use a Warwick for my SR5, which has all sorts of pockets etc. One warning though, it is pretty heavy, but does protect the bass very well.

A bit out of your price range but I use these for my basses:

got one brand new (guy says it was used but when i got it it still smelled new and didnt have a scratch on it and wasnt broken in) for 80bucks. great investment. Comfortable and very well padded, if you can get one in the price range i highly suggest it.

I use Under Cover Cases they have never let me down. They are not cheap though.

I use a Mooradian gig bag. It's also out of your price range, but it has held up well to the wear and tear of constant use.

It's not too bad. As long as you buy a quality bag, you're fine.

I take mine on Public Transit [subways, busses] and it's been great. Much easier than taking a hard shell case. My bass does have a few nicks and dings on it, but those happened when it was out of the case and in my hands. The bag has been great.

I have an upright bass bag also made by Mooradian. I got caught in a down pour about 2 blocks from my car. I got home and the bag was soaked. I quickly took it off the bass and felt it. The bass was fine-it was a little chilly, but it was dry. That was when I knew that I have found the bag brand for me.

The only case I would like to buy next is a all leather single electric bass bag. However, that is going to cost a lot.
