Is it worth it to get the first two of the list? Do they cover different topics or is one the updated version of the other?

He's also got a few guitar setup/repair DVDs on Stewmac. I have 'em, they're not bad. (Though I prefer the book - it covers more topics like finishing repair, etc.)

Haven't seen the one on nut making, but I know he does have one out there- so probably him. Usually pretty good stuff.

There's tons of great info floating around the net. But if you want a hard copy, go with

1. Guitar Player Repair Guide by Dan Erlewine
2. Electric Guitar Setups or Complete Guitar Repair both by Hideo Kamimoto

The Guitar Repair Guide is awesome. I still pull it out for reference. At Stewmac, Dan has many books on specific topics. I have the fretting book and the finish book.

Just got to take a look at the latest Stewart Macdonald catalogue and there is an advert for DanErlewines DVD's on the back. It lists dvd's on:-

Maintenance & set up acoustics vol 2
Maintenance & set up electrics vol 1

nut making step by step (the one I must heve seen)

That's it then! Yeah- I've got the Maintenance & Setup for electrics 1 & 2. Impluse buy from Stewmac a few orders ago ... pretty good, but pretty basic stuff.
