Hello all,

I would like to change the HSS configuration of a Silhouette Special which will reach me within the next days to a SSS layout.
I do not want to change all pickups. I only want to change the humbucker by an singlecoil which is similar to an EBMM Silhouette stock bridge singlecoil. For this I will mount the neck and middle pickup on a new SSS pickguard by adding a new SC.

So what is the most similar bridge SC from the standard DiMarzio programme which fits to an SSS Silhouette?

The True Velvet or if you can find one, a blue velvet or a red velvet would be ideal. Beyond that it would be a bridge pup that had the tone that you're looking for. The DiMarzio velvets are great, but so are suhr singles, and a plethora of others. An ML Suhr would be great with the Silo Spec Singles (ask me how I know, lol) . But it's up to your taste. Do you want a modern sound or a vintage sound or the best of both worlds, or?? You can get a single wound just about any way you want, from many winders. Even with modified sstagger, full stagger, or flat poles like the stock DMZs. Another option would be to call EBMM customer service and get a stock Silo Special bridge pickup if they will sell you one. They are really a lot like blue velvets, IMO. But you could get a Fralin pup with a bass plate too. So,,, a lot of options that would work. Even one of the DMZ areas might work.
