A skinny stringer buddy of mine (which I am rigorously trying to convert to an Albert Lee or JP) and I are taking a day trip to Nashvegas tomorrow and are going to be hitting up some of the music shops over there. So I thought I would ask the trusted Knucklehead community for any and all recommendations on great EBMM dealers, entertainment, eats... whatever if you have them.

I think so far we are going to hit up Gruhn's and the Platinum GC.... but it is all open to change. :)

Any and all advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I have bought 7 of my Ernie Balls at Corner Music. J.D. is the guy you want to talk to. He is a stand up guy and head of the bass department. Many times some old used stuff that is cool there too.

Will add Corner Music to the list definately... too bad the expo is next weekend... that is a great concept, and would be really cool. I appreciate the suggestions... I am really looking forward to the trip... there isn't a whole ton of fun to be had in the nearer by Knoxville... really just a GC and a few mom and pop shops that generally just cater to the skinny string crowd (I love mom and pop shops don't get me wrong... they just need to have a few basses hanging out too :) )

I just got back from Nashville a couple of weeks ago. I recommend just poking your head in any of the bars down town for a couple of minutes. Everyone playing music is just so good that even if you don't like the style you will be blown away by all the talent. Great little city. The Gibson store in the Opry Mills mall is worth going to. Although I pulled a $5000 guitar off the wall to noodle on a bit and it was set up badly and out of tune. Sad sad... BP ever thought of an EB factory store? That would be rad!
