what gauge strings do you recommend for drop tunings down to drop a?

I am currently using 10's and am a bit afraid they might snap. The guitar i use has a floyd rose trem and tone locks which i understand could be a pain to tune.

Just wondering, thanks

Beefy or Not Even are my suggestions. Almost all my guitars are Floyd equipped, and they take the Beefy strings with no issues.

i suggest *cough*dunlop zw 60's with the g replaced for a wrapped 22 and the old b and g strings get moved down one space making them b and e strings*cough*

lol or go the not even slinkys and REPLACE THE DAMN G STRING if your going any lower than D standard your going to have a g string sounds like a banjo and may be impossible to set correct intonation
(i dont know how 99GTS dose it i have a Floyd on my jem, warrior and razorback and not one of them can be correctly intonated on the g string the saddle will not go back far enough for correct intonation to be achieced)
long story short when your downtuning use a freaking wrapped g string.
