I went down to GC in upstate N.Y. today. They had a EBMM Reflex behind the counter. I think it was an 09 in Black and looks the same as the 25th Ann. model. Will the reflex be a regular model? It's not listed anywhere on this site. Are they limited runs? What's the story? Thank's........

Welcome to the forums Mojo. You will probably hear from someone to do a forum search before you post a question, so be ready.

To answer your question, yes, the Reflex is the post 25th Anniversary version of the 25th.

I think the Reflex is going to be a regular model It's a follow-on of the 25th Anniversary, and is pretty much like it. It's just not up on the EBMM site yet.
Do a search here of Reflex and you'll see some more info.

LOL, yep someone will say search, but as a newbie you get some slack:D

The Reflex is the standard model of the 25th, GC has a few early release ones but the official launch will not be until Summer NAMM per information provided to us knuckleheads:)

Everyone else has already answered your question... so the only thing I will add is this: DO NOT play that guitar! If so, you will end up buying it. And after that, the addiction will never end.

And yep, it sings just like a 25th. I just played one here in Nashville and this model just does it for me.

Of course, I also played a Minty fresh RW HB AL and a Black Magic Crystal Axis.

The Relfex is still under wraps. There are a few teasers out there, but we're all waiting for the full scoop. Sure it'll be pretty cool when all the details come out.

There's no Reflex's out there.

But seriously, from what we know they're identical minus finish and inlay size. No official word yet, so everything is still speculation. You should still play if though. :D

It is prominently featured in the Guitar Center ad that arrived in my mailbox today! Along with the JP BFR (and mention of a 10th anniversary JP), and the dual humbucker AL!

They even have pricing!

Hey Mojo, and welcome. Let me know if you (or any other knuckleheads in ON) see one in the GTA. I'll be heading up there for a while soon.

You can view the Buyer's Guide on the web and download as a .pdf

http://gc.guitarcenter.com/view-our-catalog/guides/GuitarBG_G_02_10.pdf

Here is an upload of the page. I blew up the wording on the Reflex and HH AL to cover pricing info.

If you are deciding, get the Reflex...you will not be disappointed.

Looking at the specs, can I say that the Reflex comes without a maple cap which account for a lesser price than the 25th?

ghynes,
Hey Mojo, and welcome. Let me know if you (or any other knuckleheads in ON) see one in the GTA. I'll be heading up there for a while soon.
Thanks for the welcome. 1 hr south from Guelph On. GTA over the border@ GC Niagra falls Blvd near Buffalo N.Y.They have 5 EBMM's, A 25th,Black Reflex, Sunburst ASS, 2 Axis 09's and a few Bases. One note though + add 14% bringing back over the Border. Another note: and is just my opinion that Guitar Center Employee's should not be allowed to offer any kind of advice. Not mocking all GC employee's, Most of them are nice, But it's like asking someone from McDonalds how the sour cream Chicken wrap Taste. I was asking questions about the Reflex and this GC Girl Employee started offering her opinion as to how"A lot of people dont like these guitars and the necks" I'm thinking to myself this Chick is a Moron and should go back to playing her Danelectro or something. It pissed me off.
My Guitar shop here ordered 3 EBMM in August ,09 A JP and 2 Asses. I got the Natural ASS w/ Quilted top. After my friend Played my Guitar, He ordered and recieved a 25th. They are keepers....Saving up for my next one. P.S. that photo of Sterling Ball and JP in the Boston article was worth the flight BP? They didn't let BP say too much. But hey ! BP is an Icon nice photo ! Thanks for the cool Guitars.....
