I've been dickin around online looking at various Balls and realized that I've never paid much attention to the Reflex, not sure why...but they're really cool!

I've deduced that it's basically the "standard" version of the 25th Anniversary guitar, my question regards the pickups and the series parallel switch and how it works with the 5 way.

Assuming the 5 way is wired like the 25th (bridge, outer coils, both HBs, inner coils, neck). With the switch set to series to get regular humbucker tones, will the split positions be in series as well, or would both the coils be wired essentially as another humbucker (I hope that makes sense)

Also, are the pickups similar to the Axis pickups? Or are they another Dimarzio custom wind...

The blade determines which coils are in use (bridge, outer, both, inner, neck).

The toggle determines how those coils are wired: either in series or parallel.

So yes, when the toggle is set for series, all the split positions will be wired in series. It's a departure from what most people are used to (where the bridge, both and neck positions are in series but the split positions are in parallel), but it's really flexible when you get used to it.
