Question Regarding JP model string gauge

I noticed on the website that the default string gauge for the John Petrucci model is
9p-11p-16p-26w-36w-46w (RPS Hybrid Slinkys #2241)


I normally play 9-42 so this might be a silly question but is it possible when ordering this guitar to have 9-42 gauge strings installed instead of the above?

Not possible. It ships with whatever JP is using on that particular model.

But don't worry man if you order the guitar just try that hybrid gauge! Maybe you end up liking it... if not then just change them. Not a major problem

It's not like they'll be there forever.
