Regarding the Sub-1

Does anyone know:
a) which guage the sub ships with?
b) if it is possible to "touch up" a nick on the finish of the graphite sub-1

Mine has a nick on the neck that I touched up with a Sharpie. As to the body, the graphite textured finish just screams industrial working guitar. Why touch it up?

I've used a sharpie to touch up black paint as well. You might be able to find some touch up paint for the body at Cdn Tire. It might match the colour but not the texture.

and don't forget the duct-tape .... even if it doesn't affect the touch-up or the string guage

Sharpies work like a charm! I've used them many times for nicks.
