You ever have them, sure you do...like you regret that last piece of pizza, or that extra 4 beers...

well my regret is trading in my Silo Spec...now don't get me wrong, I won't ever regret my JP7, and I am grateful I was able to get one, however, since getting my Tonelab, and having that nice warm tubey sound, I miss not having an S-S-S configuration...so I'm kind of thinking of trying to get it back...anyone else have regrets?

Hah! Oh yes. Mostly for the things that I didn't do.

One of those things is this:

In 1983, I had a chance to buy a '64 Custom SG for $500.00. It was in great shape (so was I, come to think of it. How things change.)

Obviously, I did not buy this guitar.

I regret not buying Netscape for $15 at its initial public offering. I got a letter at the time, but I didn't have the scratch. I advised my boss to buy it at the time. He passed, and went on to buy Cisco at $115. Hahahahahaha,, the fool!

1) ummm ... not working at google. LoL

2) I purchased a 78 Les Paul Goldtop w/ P90s about a year ago instead of an ASS MM90 ... i ended up not using the LP too much and got an ASS MM90 a little later anyways. Now the LP has become a super expersive wall decoration - but it does look pretty bad ass LoL

+1

4) i have a few guitars i never use - my 2004 USA P Bass comes to mind. Its quite the player so i keep it around but im not too into it otherwise

5) I got an ibanex bass for about $700 once. that was a dumb move. its at the price point where w/ a little extra cash you could get something way better used

Putting a powersaw through my wrist at age 17, cutting out a tendon and losing 30% mobility in my wrist. Had to stop playing guitar. Didn't start again for about 12 years. Now I feel like a learner all over again.

Let's see...without delving into my personal life, I'd have to say that I regret wasting so much f*cking money on lesser quality basses than the EBMM's. And, I wish I had checked out the Sabre years ago...it gives me the tone I want through just about any amp!

Oh, and there was that one girl...

...nevermind.

Yo Raz, I'm with you. I had a Sil Special and foolishly sold it. It was red(my favorite color), HSS(favorite pickup config), with a great trem. I miss it. I end up selling things and regret it later. At one point I had a pink EVH, quilt Wolfgang, Sil special. What makes it worse is that I don't have a good guitar now. I have a bunch of beaters but wish I had a great guitar. The Sil was it.

I regret almost every mail order guitar I ever spent money on - the Jimmy Page Les Paul from 97 was a truly awful guitar - if I'd played it in a shop, I never would have bought it - i love Les Pauls, but this was pure crap - finally traded it last year for my PRS singlecut trem - no contest. I regret not buying at least 1 more EBMM EVH model when they were available - I can't bring myself to pay the money for a second hand one now. I also regret not buying the Luke 1 I was offered at the start of 2003 for a ridiculously good price - beautiful playing, looking and sounding guitar - I passed and my brother bought it. It haunts me every time I'm at his house

I've never heard of someone so unprepared for marriage...

If he's bummed that his skanking days are over, he should have ran from that altar! Marriage isn't for the weak. ;)

ROFL, Big Poppa!

I'm only married for 8 years, but my wife and I have been together for 14 years!
Not too smart for a guy who's only 35, eh? ;)

Seriously, I wouldn't trade her for the world. And hey, we're BOTH coming to the Open House.. so maybe married life ain't so bad after all. :D

Not to hijack this thread, but my wife and I always say:
"If you feel married then there's a problem!"
"If you feel like you're dating then you're on the right track!"

We hit 14 years in a few weeks. 3 kids later. Still doing OK!

Me, I regret not buying great gear earlier on.

I played my homemade strat for many, many years, not realizing how bad the neck had really gotten.

When I finally started getting in to better equipment it made a tremendous difference.

And then I finally discovered EBMM. So wish I'd gotten here sooner ;)

OMG

There comes my bread knife and my index finger in my mind, one day before an important gig.

I regret not buying a 1960 Les Paul (one of the last of that period) in 1984 for about $1000 , I was 15 years old and told the shop owner I will come tomorrow with the money, what I did but the guitar was gone :(

Wished him to hell and back.
Anyway the shop was broke in a year
