I'm just curious, has the regular 4-pickup Steve Morse model always been the same since production started in 87? I know the really old ones had a different heel, but besides that?

Is the normal Steve even in production? I don't see many new ones on the bay or in shops...btw The Y2D is one of the most stunning guitars out there and I love the neck, it fit perfect to my hand...damn right handed guitars.

As far as I know you can order a regular Morse like any other guitar.

I know of two changes.
- The early Trem-model had a Kahler. Later it was changed to Floyd Rose
- The above mentioned newer neckshape

Dudley, BP, or Tommy might be able to tell you of any other changes that might have gone unnoticed. Don't forget the compensated nut!

I've got a few regular Morse models and y2ds that will be here by the end of July...

The store turned 54 in Feb, and August 1st marks 5 years since my father and I took it over. I think a big party might be in order for that day. ;)

as far as i know......just the updated neck profile/comp nut....a newer slightly wider model tune-o-matic bridge.....& a slightly different blueburst formula. but these as small details though...... it's the same configuration .
