Hey guys..
Recently I've bought a pack of the Classic Regular Slinky (this one - Ernie Ball | Electric Strings - Classic Pure Nickel Regular Slinky) to restrung my guitar since I coundn't find the Regular Slinky pack (Ernie Ball | Electric Strings - Regular Slinky Nickel Wound) here at my city.

But I've never played this Classic Regular Slinky before, I don't know the differences between them and I just can't find any comparison between these strings!

Can someone please explain?
I play a classic Mystic Dream JP6.. If the difference in the tone is noticeable I'm going to take my money back and wait until some store receive the Regular Slinky again..

Thanks

I've never played them, so I don't know how they sound. But the difference in construction is that the winding of the regular slinky is a steel wire, plated in nickel, and then wound around a steel core. The "classic" ones are a pure nickel wire wrapped around a steel core.

I see this has been a few weeks, did you try them yet? What did you think?

Rock'n'Roll slinkys have a slightly warmer, mellower sound. (Like they used to be back in 50s and 60s). You may like them!

The first page you linked shows the rock'n'roll slinkys as the same brightness as the regular slinkys but that's a mistake and I'll let somebody know about it so they can fix it.

There are sound samples on the pages you linked. Open each page in a separate browser tab so you can switch between them and compare. The difference in sound is pretty obvious if you listen with headphones or good quality speakers (i.e. not your laptop or phone speaker).
