don't know if anyone has posted this but curious if I can have my 99 Ray converted to a double pickup HH model by Ernie Ball and have a stock MM pickup installed as the #2? I guess I could call em but you guys know about these things..

I'd say no. They're not really set up to do that sort of thing, although I'd wait on final word from Jon or Dargin or BP.

My guess is not.

The routes for each bass are cut on a CNC machine and I'm thinking that would be really, really hard on your finish and hardware and so on.

If you're set on an HH, I'm with the above guys in thinking that a new bass might be easier, less stressful and so on.

or if you don't want to sell your bass you could save up some extra cash.

yah thats what I figured--> dare myself to tell the honey that I'm buying my 3rd stingray... what I can't figure out is what to say after she gives me that look,,, you know "THE LOOK" look.......... alright I have to think about this one for a day or two...
