Have been thinking of selling my 25th, as I'm so into the big al these days. Well, I was in the rotation to play contemporary worship at church this week. It was a little intimidating as the 8 song set was stripped down. Two acoustic guitars, piano, percussion, and me on bass. Its a big room, about 1000 people, with a gazillion flying jbl subs. I was more than a little freaked by this revealing situation.
So, I picked the 25th for it's more delicate abilities. I practiced a lot cause every freaking note was out there. The 25th did the job! Passive the whole time. It really sang when I needed to, up high. Let me glide around without any string noise. The money notes, when needed, filled the place with solid low end. Used all sorts of combinations, HS, S, SS. It makes me sound like a player. Renewed love. A truly professional instrument that covered it all, hanging out there in all my naked playing beauty. Needless to say, I took it off the classifies as soon as I got home. The 25th. Classy Musicman.
