HowD Funseekers,
NOt to be rude or zanything, but I didn't get a chance to put my plug before the thread got locked ...

my wish is for GC to buyout L&M for all sorts of good reasons. I've bought enought gear from L&M over the years including SR5s and although I've had glitches at times = (lost orders, incorrect billing Toronto-HQ Stuff ya see )the in store service has been great and I'd like to see Mark bass and EBMM in one great marketshare store here in Vancouver and I think these two famous retailers could cook something great together and put them Fders and EpiGibs further back in the mix... blah blah blah ... more CEO "synergy speak" etc. etc ...meanwhile there are some great EBMM Forum get-together spots up here in The Great White NOrth and although we're a relatively small national market, we're realpretty and we got sum great musicians and a national TV company to get some go'vt sponsored air time on for EBMM sightings in "Frenglisch":D

ps, dear Marty, you could also rescue me from rehab and the motorcycle industry and score yourself a decent (customer service minded)regional manager/ SR5 & BC 15E/Piezo player with national automotive import/ distributionand major mall retail management experience... meanwhile call me first if you want cool deals on sum BMW K1200 motorcycles and the ride of a lifetime on sum famous BC biking roads:cool:
Tnx eh?

No no no. The R1200GS is BMW's best selling bike for a reason. Here's mine.

PZO.......I went to high school and college just outside Toronto...in London, Ontario...Fanshawe College developed a great music program back in the very early 70's which I attended......we would love to open stores in Canada at some point.....my brother ended up staying in Canada and is the photo editor for the Hamilton Spectator......

are you coming to the knucklehead party, eh ????

The heat would be too much of a shock to his Canadian system anyway.

That's my reasoning at least. ;)

.....plus I don't have a passport.

Me and L&M are on bad terms right now. Before I got my DD Stingray I went into my local L&M and asked "Do any of the nearby L&M's have any left handed MusicMan Stingrays?"

Salesman: "Let me check.......yeah, looks like the main store down town on Bloor St. has one."

"Thanks, i'll check it out"

Two buses and a subway ride later, I get to the L&M on Bloor, only to find out they sold the lefty stingray two days prior.

Because of this lack of keeping up to date on computer inventory, and getting my hopes up on walking out with a left handed stingray, they're on my bad list.

You don't tease a lefty like that.. It's cruel.
