Hello everyone, please help me.
I live in Brazil, I have a MM JP6 and the selector switch pickups is faulty, bridge position it mute signal, the middle position works normally, in the arm position she hangs and does not reach the position.

My question is: DiMarzio EP1111 selector switch is compatible? I looked on the internet and saw that is very similar to my selector switch.
I have no more guarantee, suppliers do not have the selector switch to spare and not inform the model.
Follow the pictures of my selector switch, pictures of EP1111 and EP1111 scheme:

Welcome.

Your first step is to contact Customer Service via email. They can inform you what switch is compatible and possibly where you can find a replacement. It helps if you provide the serial number as well.

Yeah, you should be able to use the Dimarzio switch (check with CS for sure), but you'll have more work involved soldering all of the connections. The PCB on the MM switch makes it easier.

If that's an issue, see if you can order the replacement switch directly from MM.

So, as I live in Brazil, these options are not feasible, I found the EP1111 to buy here in Brazil, so I want to know if it is compatible.

I contacted the MM, response:
"The EP1111 is the same type of switch in terms of the arrangement of the connectors, but it does not have the same lugs, and is not attached to a circuit board like the switch on the JP6. I believe your best course of action is to contact MusicMan customer service to request a replacement. I think you will find them to be very helpful.

DiMarzio Inc."

What he meant with "but it does not have the same lugs"?
I understand the EP1111 is compatible, q u understand?

The lugs have holes in them, so you'll need to strip, tin and connect each individual pickup wire through the lugs. Also, you'll need to figure out which wire goes where, which won't be on the wiring diagram. But there are sites that have it laid out.

It's not rocket science, but it's more work than soldering the pickup wires to the solder pads on the PCB. That's why he's suggesting getting the original part.
