Hey everybody. While returning from a gig a few states away, Northwest airlines managed to skewer my bass case with something sharp enough to jab through my plastic SKB case and into the chrome control cover on my StingRay. One pot got totalled, and it bent the crap out of the control cover itself. For the first time ever, Google seems to have let me down, and I can't find anywhere that sells replacement control covers. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Hi and welcome.

If you're in the US you can buy them direct from Ernie Ball.

If in another country I think you'll have to go through your Music Man dealer. But contact Customer Service for advice.

I was pretty stunned when I looked at the case. I don't really have any idea what could have possibly made that clean of a hole. I'm not real proud of it, but I kinda ripped the poor lost luggage girl a new hole when I got the case open and saw the carnage inside. At least Northwest is paying for the repairs. I tried to get them to buy me a new bass, but no joy.

Peace,
Jeromy
