Hiya,
I've just bought a 2003 SUB5 bass which has had the headstock decals removed by a previous owner. Is it possible to get replacement decals, as I want to restore the bass to it's original condition? If so, where from?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Cheers, Dave.

they are not decals, it was a screen print, and unfortunately it is not available for purchase.
Welcome to the EBMM club though, i promise it will play and sound just as fine without the original headstock screen prints.

As mentioned above, the headstock logos are silk-screened on. EBMM don't use decals. Anyone selling decals are not authorised by EBMM to do so and are doing so in breach of EBMMs trademarks and applicable laws. I know decals are very easy to find online but please, let's not advertise anyone selling them on the official company forum (and to that end I have deleted a post above for that reason).

IIRC, in the past, BP has expressed his wish that people don't decal a refinished instrument. The company only wants it's name on it's own work (which may not be representative of EBMM quality) and obviously, nobody wants people selling a refinished guitar as original or limited run or what not.

As there is really nothing else to say on the matter, unless BP or the other mods want to chime in, I'm just gonna close this thread.

Thanks for understanding, back to regular programming, hope you're all having a good Monday.
