Hey all. Anybody know where I could get a Stingray-style six-hole neck plate? I'm putting a new bass together, and I'd love to use a six-bolt neck joint, but it seems impossible to find something other than a three- or four-hole plate from the usual sources. If possible, I'd like one that doesn't have a logo on it, although I could probably just flip it over if there is a logo.

So has anybody seen one of these for sale?
Anybody have any spares lyin' around?
Anybody have the tools to make me one on the cheap? :D

Much thanks.

Allparts has none. :'( I could get one fabricated, but that'll be my last resort. I might try making one myself, but I've never really worked with metal that thick before. I'm not sure my bandsaw could handle it. I guess we shall see ... !

Thanks for the suggestions though.

Been looking for a gold one. Hit up a gold plating service in nashville and was quoted $200 and 3-4 weeks to have the one from my bass gold plated. It would preserve the engraving though.

If it preserves the engraving that’s got to be a good thing though?
One will turn up when you don’t need it that’s how it usually goes lol :p

Yeah itd be a very good thing. Im going to buy a cheap-o chrome one that I can find for $20 right now, put the cheap one on the bass, send out the real one that has the SN and engraving for plating. That way my main live bass isnt out of commission for 3 weeks. I'll post some detailed pics when shes done, halfway there and its a beauty
