Replacement Pickguard

I am purchasing a Sterling by Music Man Ray35 (I can't afford the real thing right now), and would like to replace the pickguard with a brown tortoise shell one. Does anyone know if a Stingray-5 string p/g will fit as a drop in replacement? Thanks

i dont know how he feels about pm's, but if he is anything like big poppa id say youd better be careful
