Help! Replacing potentiometer in 6166 VP

Hey guys, I ordered a new 250K EB pot for my 6166 volume pedal, but I'm not sure how to replace the old one. I've taken out the old string and spring (I ordered a new set as well) and unscrewed everything so that I can get to the old pot.

It looks like the wires are soldered onto there, so I'll have to heat them to remove them and re-solder them onto the pot. However, I can't tell how to get the old pot off of the little black case/part it's attached to (by some sort of nut or something?). I'm not particularly handy so any advice would be much appreciated.

I haven't replaced one yet, so not sure how it's mounted. If you can't work it out, best bet is to give the customer service folks a holler tomorrow when they're open. They'll sort you out.
