Guys--
On Wednesday, my band played a crap mid-week gig in Baton Rouge.
I didn't mind, because I'd big sick for the longest and stageless for 11 mos (damn pancretitis). To make matters worse, my Sterling I bought last year had still been sitting in my practice room, never once seeing the inside of a music club.
When we got to the club, I was pleasantly surprised to see the opening act (a California group named Fermata -- damn good hard rock BTW) warming up... with two EB EVH models! One for each six-stringer in the band.
(Poor bassist had a Warwick, though. He must be converted.)
So, out of two bands with a total of six guitars/basses, 1/2 the axes were MMs!
To make things even more pleasant, only one axe that hit the stage that night was a F@#@#R.
The takeover, apparently, has begun.
