jack has been changed, new battery caseing installed and still the bass is distorting or farting. Do I need all new guts and a new pick up? Nothing on the inside looks messed up. What could this cost? The bass is Ten years old, so...

Although you changed the battery compartment, I presume you also changed the battery itself and checked leads/cables etc???

In any event, contact Customer Service for advice and options available. It may turn out to be something simple.

I've heard EBMM customer service is outstanding, they'll hook you up and get your bass back and running.
