Rescue Mission

Got this yellowing White Sparkle Pet the other day. I usually don't go for well-used Pets, even if they are sparkles, but this one is one of first the100 hand-signed Pets, so I decided to rescue it and take it into the fold.

This guitar was a nightmare, a real dirt bomb. After consulting with Pete D. I went to town on the back of the neck and fretboard, which were freakin' filthy.
I'm very happy with the results. Thanks Pete!

I removed every piece of hardware to de-funk and de-rust and cleaned out every
nook and cranny.

So here she is, back from the dead:

To LivinItUp: Roland Cubes are actually really great little amps! The 15 watt is so versatile, really! I'm just wondering if Ernie has any Mesas or something?

Smelly, the guitar came from Puerto Rico where the humidity does a number on 'em. I don't believe it came from a smoking enviro, it didn't have that "smell."
The case was/is a total lose, it's sitting in my garage, I won't let it into the house! Yes, it's that disgusting. So all in all I'd have to say that this sparkle Pet was one neglected and abused baby.

Yes guys, I have other amps. The main one being a Carvin Legacy combo.

The Roland Cube is a nice sounding little practice amp.
