I have never seen that before, however I have noticed recently that a rather large Canadian/US manufacturer has a three pickup model bass (in the same locations as the Big Al) as well.

Heehee, I see a Ric bridge and P and SG pickups. They shoulda dropped a Stingray headstock in there to complete the mishmash.

Just heard Sadowsky have a 3 pickup bass coming out/custom build. Sorry, but the Big Al is the coolest 3 x S pickup, with a better bodyshape.

I don't want to go off topic, just giving credit to EBMM for breaking boundaries :) The Big Al is a cool innovation.
