Just saw this in the press releases section and noticed something I wasn't aware of - Mr. Morse is actually a lefty!

Anyone else here a lefty turned righty player, and if so, what are your experiences?

Like Steve, my girlfriend is a lefty with occasional righty tendencies. She's Hendrixian when it comes to airguitaring, tho... :p

I'm a half lefty half righty. I write with my right (was trained that way in school) and play guitar but I do everything else left handed. As near as I can guess, I was an "undiscovered" lefty that just got throw in with the righty crowd. My left hand can almost write as well as right and it is definitely more dexterous and strong. Weird huh?

Not as weird as ya think....I'm definitely right-dominant, but can do a lot of things as good or better with my left side than most righties too. I've also got better strength on that side, and I used to skateboard "goofy-footed" and bat both ways in baseball as a kid, for instance.

The girlfriend also is fairly equally ambidextrous by default - can't get her to switch guitar sides, tho. Last year she briefly got the notion that she wanted to learn how to play, and I asked our local Sam Ash sales guy if they had any cheap but good starter lefties in stock or orderable, and his response was "you really should try to get her to learn righty if she can", but unfortunately, she wasn't game for that idea! I actually can understand the guy's line of thinking, but old habits are hard to break when you're in your mid-30s as we all know...
