Hi all, i own a musicman stringray 4 and i recently replaced the strings it came with to a pair of black beauties. In short, i dont like them and theyre too small for the nut size. I put these new strings on and the D and G strings rattle and buzz at the nut. Ive fixed the problem by putting a thin piece of paper under the G string at the nut. This looks crappy, lol and you can tell the string is too small for the nut and i loved the strings it came with, stock i suppose. So, any idea to what size the normal stock setting is to be? I know i could get the nut replaced but the strings it came with felt awesome.
