Damn, damn damn! The world of guitar playing just got a little bit slower and little less tasty, going home is enough to recharge anyones batteries, one of the true greats has left us again brothers, RIP Alvin you will be sorely missed.

Saw them live on 4 different occasions in Houston as a kid. They were my favorite back in the age when $10 would get you in to see the greatest acts in Rock and Roll. And anyone with a pulse couldn't hear "Going Home" and sit still. One of those tunes that makes you drive too fast!

My parents used to endlessly complain how i'd play Going Home from the live album i had (thinks... It might still be in my album collection in the loft). Captain Speed Fingers. It's sad that your gone, but you will never be forgotten.

Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Regards

I was always a big fan of Ten Years After. Great band.

My cousin (who got me into TYA as well as many other classic rock bands) passed away a few months ago. I made a CD for us to play at his memorial and included three songs from Ten Years After. A couple weeks later Alvin Lee passes away as well.

RIP Alvin Lee, you rocked.
