Got my new roasted Big Al 4H last night, took a few pics and took a few more tonight. Very difficult to photograph the black sugar finish, especially with my limited photo skills, but the sparkles are subtle and the roasted neck is gorgeous. More importantly, the bass is light as a feather and the single H sounds huge! Thanks to all at EBMM and to Pete DuBaldo for a great deal. I'm very happy. I've got three Balls with birdseye necks that are just crazy. I need to take some family photos, but it'll probably be a few weeks before I have time. Anyway, here's the Big Al:
And here's my son Luke with his new guitar, channeling Jimi Hendrix. It's not EBMM, but I hope the mods will let it slide. He'll only be three in April so I'm gonna wait a bit longer before introducing him to the good stuff.
