Man, I'm glad to see it out there, but DCGL's photography leaves a lot to be desired. In fairness, EBMM did say that it's a difficult color to photograph.

I agree that their photographs are not as good as other companies (coughcoughTPBcoughcough). I'd really love to see one with all the sparkles apparent and see how deep brown the roasted coloration is. I'm getting impatient waiting for my reflex!

I dont see how these are drastically different than the birdseye classic necks outside the fretboard. :confused:

Hopefully this is more than asthetics as stated...

I fell in love with the "waterfall-esque" figuring of the neck in the promo pics back in August; the first bass above looks close to that, the second, not so much. The body color does not look well represented in the photos IMO, but I'm still looking forward to a few more photos in the near future...especially a Bongo.

Pete told me to expect the roasted Big Al on Nov 27, but expect a 2-3 week delay. Looks like its going under the Christmas Tree.

Do they send these in batches by model? Anyone know?
