Firstly Congratulations to BP and company and much success on the GC and accolades at Namm.

Ok, tree hugging session over, on to me,( just kidding ) so I recently posted a SR5 HH Roasted, that was an impulse buy on the pure beauty of it, after much A/B'ing I decided while hard to believe it was too close to my 25th HH.
So I fortunately was able to snag my first decision which is this BA 5 SSS from James at TPB.
Holy moly what a monster, I'm now in true bass bliss. I can't believe the tonal range this beauty has. So much thanks to this incredible company to produce such an unparalleled product line.

Thanks all, I've been playing it for most of the night and it's pretty hard to put down. I bonded with this neck immediately, really dig the Ebony board. I love that the pkup's sound distinctively different than the two singles on my 25th.
The neck seems fast and overall tone is real tight, sick B string of course.
I've been jonesing for a black MM bass with an ebony board for quite a while, bingo. The finish is great also, have to admit it was a concern, but it's killer.
Big Al's a winner.

Thanks dudes, yeah I really lucked out, not only locking it up but they still had a sale on. The addition of the BA has me good shape bass wise. I can cover anything with these three. I highly recommend anyone in the market to try to play a Big Al, just a killer instrument with tons of tone.

And thanks Ed Friedland for your video demoes, second MM I bought after watching you. 100% accurate presentation

First off big congrats Lane.... That's a beaut'.

Would you mind elaborating on the difference between the singles on the 25th and BA? I've been very curious about this and have only had brief moments A/Bing the two (many thanks to ProjectApollo for that). I'd love to know your thoughts.

Congrats again, and enjoy!

Hey Matt, thanks and sure I'll try to do that tonight, I naturally haven't been able to get the BA out of my hands. I'm looking forward to hearing that myself.
I'll get back tonight or tomorrow. Rick
