Roated Neck - can you send a regular one to CS to get roasted?

I am guessing not, but can you send in your regular neck to get roasted at EBMM? Just got my PDN Axis SS in the mail, roasted neck is ridiculous, (unfinished, no gloss)............it is so smooth and fast, and the sound too.....just wondering if I could take the neck off of one of my other guitars and send it in to get "upgraded".

I would seriously doubt it but CS will tell you more

Torrefied (roasted, baked, vulcanized, etc) wood is treated in raw lumber form before it is even touched by EBMM. They can't do that to a completed neck. And given that they won't even allow a customer to elect for stainless on a factory refret, I can't imagine you would have any luck getting a new roasted replacement neck.

Killerburst is correct. We don't roast the wood here at the factory.

The way the process works the wood is treated before anything is cut, so no builders do the process at their own factory.
