Some of my biggest inspiration as a bassist comes from this guy..unfortunately he only pulls this bass out on special occasions...have read its a '78 I bel. not 100%... if this doesnt nail the tone in my head Im not sure what does...

LOL....I bel. you are right...didnt notice initially... I still say his best tone was when he was rockin the Ray and Mesa stuff. He's jumped around quite a bit these days but have been told the Ray still makes an appearance from time to time.
