Hello everyone. A couple months back my best friend Wes Jeans (an incredibly awesome musician) sent me an e-mail telling me I should enter the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation's Most Promsing Young Blues Musician of 2007 competition. I sent in a video of me playing a couple of songs, and didn't think much else about it. Today I got a call from Steven Johnson, Robert Johnson's grandson telling me that I was the winner of the contest. WOOO HOO!!! haha...I will get a free Gibson L-1 Robert Johnson signature acoustic, and a trip to Hazelhurst Missippi to perform at the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation 3rd Annual Music Festival on May 5th. Bobby Rush will play later that night. It's going to be fun. I can't wait to take my Music Man to Mississippi...That's all for now.
