Roland DB-700 + 'Ray. Good combination?

I'm serious thinking of buying a lefty natural 'Ray with maple neck and black PG. Everyone knows MM Basses are very good, but not the cheapest on the market and I also need a new amp. I was thinking about a Roland DB-700. Has anyone expierence with the DB-700? Thanks!
