So, on the EBMM site I noticed that the option for a rosewood board is available on the Axis. Why is it that I never see them? Are they goofy looking? Does anyone have one? Pics perhaps?:confused::confused:

I guess everybody wants the EVH looks so rosewood is not that popular for this model

that being said I'm not sure this model is available for the BFR yes but not sure for the regular model

Keep an eye on the for sale threads. F'ing had a rosewood board ASS in a natural flame (I think it was flame) that I saw at DuBaldos when I picked up my natural quilt Axis. It's a different look from the light maple, but very nice and certainly easier to keep clean looking.

They've only recently become available on the Axis, but they've always been an option on the Super Sport as far as I know. So that's why you probably don't see many Axis guitars with the rosewood, because the option is relatively new.
