Okay-I'm hooked on Rosewood Necks thanks to my new Super Sport. I'd like to get ANOTHER-this time with MM90's and a Maple Top in Natural instead of the Rosewood top. Does anybody know if you can order the Rosewood Neck on its own? The EB/MM website is no help. Thanks!

Glenn-I meant ordering a complete guitar from the factory, not just a neck. Sorry if I was unclear.
The "Build an Instrument" feature allows you to specify a FINGERBOARD wood, but I am talking about ordering a guitar with a Rosewood NECK. I know they make 'em because I just bought one.
So-back to my original question. Bueller? Anyone?

Funky, ah got yah. Yah all of the necks that EBMM currently makes are maple, no rosewood as of yet, but you never know.

If you are a signed artist it may be a different story, but if you are just a "Joe-Smoe" like the rest of us, you get what's on the website. But from where I sit, that's a ton.

Best of luck, Glenn |B)

Speak for yourself, I'll be signed in 2044 (or something like that, according to BP)

I was looking at a P*S with a rosewood neck, and for the same money I can get 2 Super Sports! I would keep the one I have and ADD the one I'd like to get with MM90s.

The complete rosewood necks are only available on the Axis & Axis Supersport models, and they all come with rosewood tops.

Not to stir up trouble or nuthin'...but that guitar doesn't do it for me. Looks like my grandmothers old bedroom furniture.

May she rest in peace.

Dargin - enquiring minds want to know:

Are the rosewood Supersports also going to be available with the MM90s or just with the humbuckers?

Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry to have to agree with you. While it is a beauty, it just looks too much like my bedroom furniture to rock my socks.

I'd love to hear one, to hear the difference the wood would make, compared to a standard axis with the basswood/maple top and neck.

John C,

The rosewood series is available with all the normal Axis / Axis SS versions. So yes mm90's are available.
