Rough cost of a StingRay preamp.

How much would a replacement pre-amp for a neck-through StingRay cost? The other day I asked someone if it was over or under $500 and they hedged. I genuinely do not know.

I recently enquired as mine has been acting up and I can't pinpoint the issue, its quite reasonable.
