Anybody had any dealing with Royal Music and if so what types of deals did you get.

I called about a guitar and the just won't budge on the price. I like it, I want it, but $XX50.00 (shipped) seemed a little bit higher than I wanted to go. :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx, Glenn |B)

Those are the dudes by me....they don't budge at all on prices, and to be honest the stock isn't always pristine (see ltd ed purple fade finish....). As a rule I refuse to deal with them.

I bought an axis SS that was right out of the case in the back, and I got a deal on it for 1200 cash, no tax, also it is a vintage sunburst which is 50 dollars more that the regular finishes, but im not sure whos working there now and what their situation is, they do have a good selection at times though but I havent been there in awhile, my silo special came from guitar center for 700 bucks, beat that! -

Orange, yah I tried (not very hard) to get the to come down on their price some, but they didn't seem to want to give at all. I think I remember you talking about them in the past and saying they don't deal.

Lock, they have a really nice selection. $1200 for and Axis SS, is that high?? I got an Axis Sport (discontinued model) in Silver Sparkle (discontinued color) from MusicLand USA from $1095 (free shipping) I thought that was a good deal. Now I know that the Axis SS and the Sport have there differences and the SS has a few more options and stuff.

They're asking $1120.00 + $30 shipping and since I'm not in NY (MA is where I'm at) I don't think theres tax. For a total $1150.00, which to me seems high.

Well thanx for the inputs and I'll let you know whether or not I get it.

you guys are wrong. i bought a steve morse, a luke, an albert lee, and a MM90 from royal music over the years, and they always took good care of me.
when i was ready to buy, i asked what the best price was, and they gave me their price, and i was satisfied.
they always offered me a free set up.
the tech that they have is also a music man player and hooks me up when i need an adjustment.

Dude, I'm sure they took good care of you, there are others that are here/were here that they took good care of. From my personal experience, I can get a better price elsewhere, but that's me. Plus, I'm not local, I have a feeling that has a lot to do with it. When I bought from they, it was over the phone.

By the way, welcome.

Let's see some of your EBMM's man, post some pictures.

I've also found them to be inflexible on prices. I almost bought a Luke from them but it was not in new condition although it was a new guitar. When I pointed out the blems, the sales guy, Cory, didn't even respond. I drove home and ordered my CBP Luke from makenmusic.com later that day. I even paid less since they have free shipping and no tax to me.

Yeah I bought my silhouette there. It was a fair price compared to Gui##r Ce%%r. They set it up and gave me a strap.
