I know it sounds class but I have a HSS 25 th and don't know if the sound would be too similar.
This is the problem with shops not stocking them. I know that they can't stock every bass and in every option and I dont want to sound lime I am having a dig at them as I totally understand. But for me the best I canget is YouTube and hope it works out.

But then it is a MM product so I don't really worry too much it

Id try an SSS, its very very different to the H H/H basses....awesome.

DTG, so long as it says BIG AL and EBMM on the head stock, you will guarantee yourself a solid, tone monster, with an amazingly playable neck. So, single H or SSS is really not a major issue, either way you'll be blown away. Have you seen Ed Friedland's review? He does a pretty thorough analysis of the SSS.
